Davis Wade Stadium Policies

Entry
All gates open 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff. ALL PERSONS MUST HAVE A TICKET REGARDLESS OF AGE.
Re-Entry
SEC rules state that no re-entry is permitted at any gate. Any person leaving the stadium must have a NEW ticket to be re-admitted.
Smoking & Tobacco Policy
Effective August 1, 2016, Mississippi State University became smoke-free. The use of any combustible or vapor products will be prohibited anywhere on campus property including university facilities, university grounds, university vehicles, parking areas and sidewalks. Prohibited Items
Alcohol, balls, banners, beverages, bottles, cameras with detachable lenses, containers, drugs, fireworks, flags, food, frisbees, handheld radios and televisions (permitted with headsets), ice chests, irritants, firearms, knives, noisemakers (except cowbells), picnic baskets, signs, thermoses, video cameras or weapons are prohibited in the stadium. Gate personnel are instructed to enforce this rule. Stadium security has the right to inspect any item at any time for the purpose of spectator safety. Prohibited items must be returned to cars or disposed of before entering the stadium.
Aisle/Section Entry
Ticket stubs should be available throughout the game to assist in seat verification and entry into each aisle or section.
Aisle Traffic
Spectators are urged to arrive at their seats well in advance of kickoff. Excessive movement on the part of spectators during the game is a common complaint to game administration officials. As a courtesy to other patrons, please remain in your seat until the play has ended.
Alcohol Policy
No alcoholic beverages may be brought into Davis Wade Stadium. Any ticket holder apprehended in the stadium with an intoxicant will be subject to ejection without refund.
Animals
Service animals are welcome in Davis Wade Stadium. All other animals will not be allowed to enter.
Athlete Gate
The MSU Athlete gate is located at Gate E on the west side, north end of Davis Wade Stadium.
ATM's
ATMs are located in the Colvard Student Union.
Automobile Assistance
Assistance with automobile concerns during game days is available through the Parking Assistance Center, located in the Roberts Building. The Center can be contacted at 662-325-9114.
Baby Changing Stations
All restrooms in the stadium are equipped with diaper-changing tables.
Bags and Backpacks
Only clear tote bags that do not exceed 12" x 6"" x 12" or one-gallon plastic freezer bags will be allowed in Davis Wade Stadium. In addition, small handheld clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" will be permitted. Spectators also will be able to carry other items allowed into the stadium such as binoculars, cameras, and smart phones. Binocular and camera cases will not be permitted. Banners/Signs
Signs, banners, pictures, etc., that are offensive to individuals and teams, which are not in good taste, and that block the view of spectators or create a safety hazard will not be allowed. The hanging or displaying of signs on the stadium walls, bleacher areas, ramps, or on an area of proximity to the stadium is prohibited. In the event of a special banner day being conducted, all signs must be pre-approved by game administration personnel. Upon approval, these signs will be displayed in a designated area.
Cameras
All still cameras are allowed in the stadium. However, cameras with detachable lenses and video cameras are not allowed.
Concessions
There are numerous concession stands located throughout the stadium for fans.
Cowbells
Cowbells are permitted in Davis Wade Stadium, but can only be used at designated times. Please visit respectthebell.com for full details. All other types of artificial noise makers are prohibited inside the stadium.
Elevators
Elevators are located in the following areas of the stadium:
  • West side, North end - new set of elevators
  • West side, South end - 2 elevators that serve the 100, 200, and 300 levels.
  • West side, middle of main concourse - This elevator is restricted at all times for coaches, media and credentialed workers only.
  • East side - 4 elevators that serve the club level, suites, and sky deck.
Emergency Contact
For emergencies before gates open (at least 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to each game), please dial 911. For emergencies after gates open, please call 662-325-8158. After gates open, there are ambulances and nurses inside the stadium ready to assist with any emergencies.
Emergency/Evacuation Procedures
In case of an emergency, the public address announcer will notify fans of developing situations, including inclement weather, fire, power failure, and game delays. These announcements are made to let fans make informed decisions, and to provide specific instructions about what to do, should an emergency occur. Information is also posted at all elevators.
Fan Security
Event service personnel are authorized to conduct an inspection of patrons entering the stadium. Ushers inside the stadium offer seating assistance and general information regarding the stadium. Uniformed police officers are available throughout the stadium.
There is also a fan texting system inside and outside the stadium for patrons to text concerns and to report unruly behavior. Type Keyword "mstate" your message and your location to 69050.
Field Access
Only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field before, during, and after a game. Violators will be subject to prosecution.
Firearms
Firearms are strictly prohibited in Davis Wade Stadium.
First Aid/ Medical Assistance
First aid stations are located in the following areas at Davis Wade Stadium:
  • West side - Ground level behind Section 4)
  • West side - 300 level (between Sections 307 & 308)
  • East side - Ground level (behind Section 23)
  • East side - Sky deck level by the south elevator lobby (behind section 338)
Food and Beverage
Food and drinks are prohibited from being brought into the stadium. Aramark Corp. is the official concessionaire for Davis Wade Stadium where fans will find traditional ballpark foods.
Gates Open
Davis Wade Stadium gates open 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff of each home game.
Seating/Assistance for the Disabled
Seating for qualified individuals with a disability is available in Davis Wade Stadium on a reserved basis. These requests should be directed through the Mississippi State Athletic Ticket Office (662-325-2600 or 1-888-GO-DAWGS) prior to game day. The ticket office is open 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday-Friday. For assistance in the stadium, please contact the nearest usher or event staff member.
High School Coaches
High School football coaches attending the game should contact the MSU Football Offices (662-325-3470). Coaches will be directed to enter the gate located at ground level on the west side of the Seal M-Club Building.
Information Booths
Stadium information booths are located behind Section 4 (West Side) and behind Section 21 (East Side). Event staff members are available to assist guests with potential questions, comments, or concerns. Information booths are open for business from the time gates are opened until the game's end.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located at the Stadium Information booths behind Section 4 (West Side) and behind Section 21 (East Side).
Lost persons
To report a lost or missing person, please call 662-325-8158. Any report of a lost or missing person will be acted on immediately by the police or event personnel to locate and return the person to his or her parent(s), guardian(s), or companion(s). If a parent, guardian, or companion is located, the lost person will be taken to the MSU Campus Police Station located behind the southeast corner of the stadium.
Medical Emergency
If assistance is needed in Davis Wade Stadium, call 662-325-8158 or contact the nearest usher, law enforcement officer, or go to the nearest First Aid Station.
Media Entrance
Media entrance is limited to Gate C on the West Side. Proper credentials are required.
Merchandise
Authentic Mississippi State merchandise may be purchased throughout the stadium. For additional merchandise, please visit the official online store at HailStateStore.com.
Pass Out Policy
No Pass Outs are allowed at Davis Wade Stadium. Fans leaving Davis Wade Stadium must have a new ticket to re-enter.
Pets/Service Animals
Animals, except for trained K-9 dogs or service animals assisting disabled visitors, are not permitted in Davis Wade Stadium.
Player Family Gates
The Mississippi State player family gate is located next to Gate E on the West Side, north end of Davis Wade Stadium.
The visitor player parent gate is located at East Side gate I.
Playing Field
Fans may not enter the Scott Field playing surface at any time. VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO ARREST AND MAY BE PROSECUTED.
Postgame Procedure
NCAA and SEC regulations require that the playing field be cleared and remain secured immediately following the completion of all games.
Programs
Official souvenir game programs are sold inside the gates when entering the stadium.
Prohibited Behavior
Examples of prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: throwing objects of any kind; demonstrating unruliness; attempting to enter the field of play; endangering the safety of student athletes, coaches, officials or other guests; attempting to climb the goal posts; removing Scott Field turf; and/or taunting public safety officials. Consequences for guests exhibiting prohibited behavior include, but are not limited to: loss of ticket buying privileges, ejection from the stadium, and/or arrest.
Public Address Announcements
Due to the sheer number of requests, currently Mississippi State Athletics does not offer personal messages (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) over the public address system.

Radios and Televisions
Handheld radios and televisions are permitted in Davis Wade Stadium as long as they are fitted with an earpiece or headphone.
Recruit Gates
All football recruits should enter Davis Wade Stadium through the recruit gate located at the west side of the Leo Seal M-Club facing the Junction.
Recycling
Game Day recycling is simple and easy. Please toss aluminum, plastic and glass recyclables into the green boxes located next to the maroon trash receptacles throughout the stadium.
Re-Entry
Guests will not be permitted to re-enter Davis Wade Stadium once they exit the gates, unless they have a new ticket.
Restrooms
Ladies' and men's restrooms are located on all concourses throughout Davis Wade Stadium.
Seatback Chairs
Bulldog cushions can be leased for all MSU football home games at Davis Wade Stadium. For only $65 for the home football schedule the MSU Athletic Department will install a cushioned chair back to your seat at the stadium. For more information or to order your "Bulldog Cushion," please call 877-610-7141.
Stadium seatback chairs can be purchased on game day behind Section 2 on the west side, and by the south elevator lobby on the east side of Davis Wade Stadium.

Security/Compliance Checks
For the safety and enjoyment of all fans attending the game, all bags, containers or persons entering the stadium are subject to search. Individuals that refuse to have a bag inspected will not be allowed to enter the stadium.
Solicitation/Literature
Persons should be aware that setting up a promotional space and/or distributing banners, booklets, business cards, circulars, commercial advertising, flyers, folders, handbills, leaflets, notices, pamphlets, posters, stickers, or any other written, printed and/or painted materials in or around Davis Wade Stadium and campus without the permission of Mississippi State University is prohibited.
Strollers
Strollers are permitted in Davis Wade Stadium, and are subject to search. Strollers are not permitted in the seating areas of the stadium. They may be left outside the First Aid Stations or by the stadium information tents at the owner's risk.
Student Gates
Student can enter through gate F, H, and L. Students are encouraged to enter the stadium as early as possible to avoid long lines.
Thrown items
Cans, bottlers, beach balls, balloons or any items which might be thrown on the field are not permitted in Davis Wade Stadium. Violators will be subject to prosecution.
Tickets
Tickets are available for sale through the Mississippi State Athletic Ticket Office (662-325-2600 or 1-800-GO-DAWGS). The ticket office is open 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. CST, Monday - Friday. The stadium ticket office, located at the Mississippi Plaza North End Zone, open 3 hours prior to kick off on game day. Gates to Davis Wade Stadium will open 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to kickoff. Tickets can also be purchased online (print-at-home option) 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the MSU Dog Tag system. All ticket sales are final.
All persons must have a ticket regardless of age. The ticket holder is restricted to the section, row, and seat of the ticket held. Tickets can't be refunded nor replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. Ticket holders to Mississippi State University athletic events agree to abide by stadium and university policies.
Please be cautious if purchasing tickets from entities other than Mississippi State University. (A number of fans unknowingly purchased counterfeit tickets at an MSU home game in 2009.) If a barcode on a ticket will not scan and authenticate at the gates of the stadium, the holder will not be permitted to enter.
Umbrella Policy
For the comfort and viewing pleasure of everyone at Davis Wade Stadium, no umbrellas are allowed inside the stadium.
Ushers
Guests should contact the nearest usher for assistance in seating locations, medical emergencies, or for anything else that might make their visit to Davis Wade Stadium more enjoyable.
Video Board Messaging
Anyone wishing to wish a happy birthday or anniversary should contact Don Williams (662-325-4171) at Learfield Sports, seven days prior to the athletic event.
Will Call/Ticket Office
All ticket problems and patron Will Call tickets should be directed to the MSU Game Day Ticket Office located at Mississippi Plaza North End Zone.
